Showreels

There was a topic of discussion today regarding showreels of graphic designers work and whether or not it was a good idea to animate briefs. My argument was that it isn't a great way of showcasing talent, unless you are in digital games and animation or UI design, I feel that print should be photographed well and left at that. 

Studio IAAH have a number of showreels, link here. I don't think that this would lift anybodies work and just adds confusion, it blends every project together, each brief that is carried out for a client is different and should remain that way.
