Above and Beyond

"When Izabela Domo designed this card for a gourmet bakery she wanted the cards to be bright and playful and to really stand out. She decided that edge painting the cards in a neon colour would be a great way to achieve this but she found that it just wasn’t possible to get this done with the printers she had available to her. So she went above and beyond for her client and did the edge painting herself, by hand, using highlighters. It took her about two and a half hours to do 500 cards. Definitely a designer who’s dedicated to her work!"

Personally, I think this is invaluable when starting out as a freelance or studio, going above and beyond for clients will gain you respect, especially in the local community.
